Internationale PREISE & AWARDS

Es gibt in der Karikaturisten-Szene regelmäßig internationale Treffen – z.B. in den USA von der International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA) in wechselnden Städten, oder die EUROCATURE in Wien und einige mehr in Europa aber auch Asien.

Dort geht es in erster Linie um den Wissensaustausch und ums Kennenlernen – es gibt Workshops, Gast-Redner und Vorträge. Ein weiterer Teil dieser Conventions ist ein Wettbewerb bzw. Turnier, bei dem die Zeichner aus aller Welt gegeneinder antreten und vor Ort Karikaturen erstellen, die dann ausgestellt und bewertet werden. Und dann gibt es natürlich eine Preisverleihung in der die Gewinner der einzelnen Kategorien (z.B. Beste Übertreibung, Beste Digitale Karikatur etc.) gekührt werden.

(Besonders stolz bin ich auf den GOLDENEN NOSEY - das ist sowas wie der OSCAR der Karikaturisten-Szene...)
